My implication was that Quinn came into the NFL with a sense of entitlement and Tebow just wants to shut up and earn his keep. I'd like it if Tebow had someone better to work with while he's earning his way, but it isn't to be. He's on his own and will have to put in the hours in the film room and with the practice squad.

your lack of faith in Kyle Orton is disturbing........LOL

I got a little irked when I saw that fat ass underperformer Lendale White posted the pictures and mocked him. He of perpetual lack of fitness and cut by his former coach.

Still, seniority matters in the NFL. Kudos to Tebow for taking it like a man. Keep him as far away from Brady Quinn and let him take his time and let him learn the system.

[methomps] Don't be 'Patron-izing' him. Lendale gave up tequila and lost 30 pounds. [/methomps]

They play the Bengals to open Preseason on Sunday. Let's see what he does in Mop up duty.

So long as he must occasionally take off the helmet and sport that fantastic dome, I'm OK with it. Personally, I'd like to applaud the brilliant man who decided upon this form of hazing. You can't hate a guy with the Friar Cut.

Is Tim Tebow the greatest sports marketing machine ever? - St. Petersburg Times

Interesting article. Says Tim could be the biggest sports marketing franchise in history, but he has to be successful in one or two years tops...

As with most sports hype today I assume "in history" means as far back as 2005 or so, in that case I think you could make a case for him. If you use the term "in history" as its actually meant to be used I'd say Tebow <<<<<<< Jordan.

I think the Florida based writers also overestimate the greatness of Him to the rest of the country. A couple of years of clipboard holding and a loss of the 24hr a day Tebow coverage in the CFB world and lets see how popular Tim is outside of UF's backyard.

Exactly. I think Tebow fatigue in and of itself makes that an especially ridiculous statement. Few people outside of Donkey and Gator fans care much for Tebow. If he had gone to the NY market and became a superstar, then maybe. Hell, LeBronze achieved much more as a spokesman before his self-sabotage this summer than Timmah ever will.
