From his website.

He may be on his way out, I do not follow the Bengals other than the Police Blotter thread. He is a CFL guy with a few seasons and a Grey Cup appearance.

- UFA from LA-Lafayette.
- Released by Vikings at end of training camp in '02.
- On active roster for Texans for 1 game in '02.
- Released by Texans in '03.
- Four seasons in CFL.
- Bengals ('08-present), as an offseason or member of pratice squad only.

QED.

So now we are arguing the credentials of a guy that Tebow ran over?

Arguing?

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

Bull[censored], I saw Hebert on the field quite a few times last season, he mostly plays special teams but I've also seen him get some play time at safety. Wikipedia is not your friend

The fact that he was even on the field during the last play of the first preseason game should tell you everything you need to know.

Hmmm. A guy who was playing on the final play of the first preseason game. So, basically he "straight ran over" a guy that'll be lucky to be playing for a CFL team later this year and in all likelihood will be selling insurance in a few months. Congrats.

Sometimes it's ok to not hate. Just saying.

People getting ran over on the football field is always awesome. No matter who it is or when it is. They're still athletes playing at the highest level. Chill..

First, regarding Hebert, he has been a special teams standout for the past 2 seasons for the Bengals. I know he lead the team in ST tackles in '08 and was the ST captain last year. He will be on an NFL roster this year although it might not be the Bengals. All that said, he is really bad at safety.

As for Tebow, I was at the game last night about 20 rows up from the visitors bench and wasn't really impressed or unimpressed by his performance. That wind up from the hip is definitely still there, and it isn't just under pressure. He threw the same way in warmups and when tossing on the sideline before coming into the game. Maybe Denver doesn't want him messing with it while he learns the offense, or maybe they just don't want him to change his mechanics so he is comfortable, I don't know. That will be a major liability for him until that gets fixed though, he is asking to be stripped and is giving a little extra time for DBs to react. He did throw the ball pretty well when given time, but threw a couple of his patented ducks as well.

On a side note, there were a TON of Tebow jerseys, both Bronco and Gator, in the crowd and I saw at least 3 guys with their heads shaved friar-tuck style. And yes, they were all as unbearable as you would imagine.
