Gay bashing, however, is part and parcel of the fundamentalist Christian identity in modern America. That Tebow is silent about it, can't help but lead to the conclusion that he tacitly supports the position.

Why. I'm a liberal, living in a very liberal city, who's fairly open minded about societal issues regarding gays. Hell, all I have to do is walk 2 miles up Clark Street, and I'm in one of the larger gay neighborhoods in the country. Not exactly the classic "posture" of someone attempting to hide or suppress his sexuality.

If I were gay; I'd be gay not some scared little boy who attempts to fight his natural instincts by publicly demonizing them.

Since when is being selectively open-minded about social issues a liberal thing?

Fighting anti-gay bigotry with anti-Christian bigotry will really get things better

  • Ahem... I don't give a shit if it was a Redskins fan (Jwinslow) or whoever the fuck thinks its funny to kill the Browns like that, but, my only question is..... fuckin why, man, why? Fuckin why?
Tebow can celebrate in any other city, but it ain't Cleveland. And judging by his un-criminal past, he won't be on the Bungles faggot squad either

Tim Tebow more accurate in college than Peyton or Eli Manning - Kerry J. Byrne - SI.com

This guy needs to tuck away his tebowner. Shit article but might be amusing to some. Maybe this guy can tell me what Colt Brennan is doing right now. He is also "easily a better passer than Peyton Manning". What's Shaun King up to these days?

Gary Danielson is going to get jealous :slappy:

I think Tebow will be an adequate QB in the NFL if whatever team he plays on goes with his strengths instead of trying to make him into something he isn't.

Clearly he won't be Kurt Warner. But I don't think he'll be Michael Vick and have to win games with his legs either.

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Tebow, the Heisman Trophy
-winning Florida quarterback, has signed a shoe and apparel deal with Nike
that will pay him just under $300,000 a year at minimum, with incentives
that could earn him significantly more than that.

Word is that Nike is hard at work designing his signature performance item. Using space age resins and polymers, it will be both aerodynamic and hold a self-contained water cooling jacket.

Which pick are we planning to use on the quarterback who has been learning to throw the ball in the months since the season ended?

ESPN takes the profitable position on Tebow. Please don't confuse that with a real analysis of his ability to compete at the next level.

Im not saying that he won't end up being a success. But I will say that objectively his stock is overvalued unless you can rationalize god smiling down upon him as an indicator of his potential.
