Honestly, Beck is a phenomenal recruiter. But that doesn't mean you have to put him in charge of the entire freaking offense. JFC, what a hilariously terrible decision.

The regression since Beck came in is fairly amazing. It's not just the playbook that got smaller but how each play is run. He either doesn't notice that alignments are all wrong or just doesn't care. Look how Clemson runs screen passes and how we have for the last two years. The ball is constantly thrown to the players back shoulder on screens and they have to turn around to catch it.

Plays might be written up the same way as 2 years ago but the staff isn't drilling down to have them executed the same way.

Like I said repeatedly last year, destroying what was once a Top 10 National Championship offense that returned 80% of its starters should have been a GLARING signal that neither Beck nor Warriner were cut out for the job. It takes a special kind of fuckery to screw that up.
