Tiger Woods (Offical Thread)

I tried to track down that Ben Crane quote and Jason Sobel (ESPN) is saying those aren't real quotes. I couldn't tell if Sobel was the first to report on this or he was just repeating it. Remember kids, leave journalism to the professionals. :wink2:

This one has been out for a while:

Now of course, the guy picture is Jamie Fox. She's in the media relations business I guess. Not trash by any means. Anyway her and Tiger supposedly broke it off not too long ago.

I hate myself for passing on that ...yummy.

Come again? :pimp:

My ire was for whoever reported this bogus quote, Oh8ch, not you. If you see it on Yahoo, ESPN, SI or w/e, I agree - yep, fair game to repeat; one would hope there has been at least the attempt to verify it by the so called "professionals" (who were meant to be my target, sorry I wasn't more clear).

Speculation (by a British tab, of course) that Elin might make Tiger quit golf, at least for a while:

Not sure I understand how stopping the goose from laying golden eggs is teaching the goose a lesson but then again I'm not Swedish.

Elin - that golf thing - it's not really the root of the problem.

The article said he would have to quit golfing until the kids were old enough to travel with him. I can't give much credibility to such statements that would have required some sort of interview with Elin when it is hard to imagine she is at that point.

But if that is accurate, I agree she is missing the "root" problem. Trust is the problem. If your solution is to hang the kids on Daddy's back so he can't do naked pushup's you are in for a long marriage (or at least one that will seem long).

That and the whole, no one is going to pay Tiger 100M+ a year to be a stay at home dad issue.

No one is going to pay him 100M+ a year to do anything if this keeps up.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that just 38% of Americans now have a favorable opinion of the golf superstar. That?s down from 56% a week ago, shortly after the stories first broke about Woods? auto accident. Two years ago,83% had a favorable opinion of Woods.

Tiger Woods' Favorables Fall to 38% - Rasmussen Reports?
