You know, I was kind of wondering the same thing.

He apparently wasn't drunk, but hitting a fire hydrant and then a tree both of which were spaced out so you couldn't hit both at the same time AND the story about how his wife "heard" the wreck and got a golf club out to save him?

Yeah sure.

This smells fishier than RR's wife.

She beat his ass and staged a car wreck to cover it up. Only thing that makes any sense.

You don't bust in a car window to "rescue" someone and then leave them passing in and out of consciousness in the middle of the street for the cops.

At the time you posted it, the media report was that he was seriously injured. Had he not been released from the hospital and for all we know, it could have been very "serious" as reported. Making comments such as that are entirely inappropriate.

I'm not apologizing for it. You may not like the guy, but show some class in that situation. Now that its been reported that he's going to be fine, I don't see a problem with it - but at the time, it was way off base. If RR had been an auto accident with serious injuries, I'd have the same position.
