after that all cooks i add the liquid.
about 3 cups liquid total. Usually use about 1 cup of chicken broth or stock and the rest water.
You can modify the mixture as you want but total amount works pretty good.



this is where you season to taste

let this come to a boil for a minute or two.

then cover it and set your flame as low as possible on your stove and let it cook for 30 minutes.

first you make a roux.
for this particular meal i use one cup of Italian extra virgins olive oil and an equal amount of flower.

heat the oil for a few moments before adding the flour.

That whole dish looks great but I have one question: how many extra virgins do I need to kidnap invite over to fit in the cup?
