Not to be too political, but I just want to let everyone know that tariffs taking effect next week will double (or more) the cost of European wine and cheese, Scotch and enameled cast iron cookware like Staub and Le Creuset.

Alright, so I made the meatballs tonight. Very good, although I doubled the recipe and then failed to double the gravy portion. The gravy was awesome, but there wasn't enough of it. Still, highly recommend.

This one was put out by the Indian Tribe in Pointe-Aux-Chenes (correct spelling, but Indians spell it like the cover of this book).



This one was put together using recipes for authentic meals that were sold at a huge church fair (like people from around the world would show up) down Petit Caillou. Fair was always 3 days in early October. The smells hit you in the parking lot. Unfortunately they shut it down permanently in ‘94




and this one was put together using recipes from ladies across multiple generations here in my hometown.
