Thread of What You've Eaten, Cooked and/or Drunk Lately

I know this is odd, but I love fusing Chinese and Mexican food, specifically Chinese protein into Mexican dishes....General Tso's quesadillas, Chinese sliced pork tacos, Kung Pao burritos....it just works dammit. I got the idea from an old DDD episode, maybe first season or so....a gas station/restaurant I want to say in the SW corner of the country.
A couple pages back I mentioned doing this exact same thing, and I agree 100% that preparing a Mexican dish using Chinese techniques is a really great meld. I was surprised at how well it went over with my family.

Yes, that is it! Just seeing those two cuisines side by side had me fall in love instantly....hope it's as good in person as it looked on TV!
The original one that you probably saw on TV was a little hole in the wall at 19th and Greenway, in the hood. I worked walking distance from it and we had lunch there many times. Now there's another one on Bell Rd, not so much a hole in the wall, it's about the size of you average sit down restaurant
