That's funny because when my wife makes wings she prefers deep frying whole, so she can only fit three at a time in the basket with the wing tips on. She's spending an extra half-hour and $5 in oil for three nibbles of skin off a wing tip.

A new Gaelic gastropub just opened in town: O'Huids. Wife and I went last night for the first time. Ordered two Shepherd's Pies (with an awesome smoked, braised beef and cabbage for the base layer), a plate of Irish lamb nachos, and two beers. $36 out the door. Outstanding price given both quality and quantity of food.

Just a cheeseburger....seared in a cast iron skillet on the stove top because the house can smell like seared beef until Saturday (when my darling wife gets home).

a guy wat work walked out to his truck couple days ago and found a gator about 10’ behind his truck.
said gator (actually only about a pound of the gator) is currently being cooked in a Pastlaya on my stove.
never cooked or ate an Alligator Patalaya before.
