I remember way back when you were into the paleo dietHad three deep-fried haddock filets, fries, and slaw tonight.
When I say I was raised Catholic, that means I still go to the Knights of Columbus every Friday during Lent, and somehow still run into 50 people I recognize from 30 years ago, including every elementary school teacher and pastor I ever had.

I'm thinking of giving this a try this weekend. I'm a little nervous though because I haven't had beer since Summer of 2020 when I gave it up as a concession to gout.

Apparently there is a national herb shortageAlright, I'm gonna give this one a ride today.
I didn't take a picture because I wasn't thinking about it, and it probably didn't do it justice, but last night I did some walleye in the iron skillet, and I have my breading down to basically 2/3's yellow corn meal and 1/3 italian bread crumbs, salt pepper and blacking spice. plus a half dozen very large argentina shrimp (same coating) and a kind of asian themed cucumber and onion salad with a little remoulade, but you don't need much. Its basically the best fucking dinner imagineable.
