The Walking Dead (Official Thread)

no worries. it was out there for public knowledge from the writers.

I don't think that's a flashback for Beth. Somebody is just using a hospital as a prison of sorts.

I am thinking the same thing, looks like she is in Atlanta and being held there. So I am very interested to see how this trip to D.C. goes and to see what happened to Carroll...if she just walks out of the woods that would be pretty anti-climatic. In any event, the show has been at it's best so far this season imo and I thought very highly of the first season/two seasons.

At some point don't they need to run into a group that kidnaps women to start re-populating the world?

I've not read the comics, but we've had the survivalist group (governor and farm), canibals, cure based group, and quasi-anarchists. Seems we need the next step of repopulating. Maybe that's what the hospital is?

I'm operating under the assumption that it will. Although, I can't remember in the comic if he had a cure or if he had an idea of what to do like he does in the show. I think the way they are portraying his cure in the show gives them several options........
without saying to much though.

Eugene had no cure in the comics - he was just a science teacher that spewed some intelligent sounding talk.
I'm waiting on the "You can't fix the world, well no s**t" moment from him. Don't know if it says more about intellect of Abraham, Eugene, or any of the characters that are willing to go to what is probably a walker infested city on a hunch.

I know, I was trying not spoil it for the rest

 Knowing what happens in the comics only gives an idea...before this season, it was more likely that it would be something different, the the extent that you could compare plots (at least, Cliff's note versions) and see which you liked better. This year they've gone a lot more towards the comic...at least for now. I expect a swerve though, otherwise the show will begin to lose its unique identity.

They're trying, it seems to me, to stay away from all aspects of other "zombie" fare that they can...since that is basically 28 Days Later in a nutshell, I doubt we'll see it, at least directly...though yeah, the Beth hospital thing is kind of a wild card.
