I did that, sorry...didn't mean to spoil an early death, I was actually more thinking they would hit and run for a while...I didn't think they'd off them that quickly, so I was surprised they did it the way they did it. Was a crazy-assed (as in, brutally awesome to watch) way for them to get their comeuppance though.I think somebody in this thread had said one of the writers let it be known that Gareth and the hunters weren't the main antagonists of this season. That took away a little bit from the surprise of killing them off in week 3, but it makes sense and it's better than dragging things out like they've done in the past. This season has been really good so far.
"There is an imminent threat - we're out of here!"
Hey, so....that threat is over now.....surely you can stick around for at least another day or two, right?
Nope --- And don't call me Shirley.
Also, given that Maggie just rode off in the short bus, I'm guessing it is Beth with Daryl, not Carol?
I was wondering that too...he wouldn't say "Come on out" if it was Carol, and he wouldn't leave a prisoner alone in the woods...so Beth? Or Morgan? Not sure.
And there are Hunters...or someone...left out there, because Gareth talked about "Greg" and another guy driving the car that was supposed to nab Carol, but Darryl was there. So there is still something weird going on. It looks like next week is a "back in time" episode about Beth, so we should get some answers while they have a chance to do backstory and walk back the craziness with the Hunters this week a bit.
no worries. it was out there for public knowledge from the writers.I did that, sorry...didn't mean to spoil an early death, I was actually more thinking they would hit and run for a while...I didn't think they'd off them that quickly, so I was surprised they did it the way they did it. I don't think that's a flashback for Beth. Somebody is just using a hospital as a prison of sorts.I was wondering that too...he wouldn't say "Come on out" if it was Carol, and he wouldn't leave a prisoner alone in the woods...so Beth? Or Morgan? Not sure.

There is a certain predictability in the episodes. It's probably Morgan since they've been showing him sneaking around. Or maybe Beth since they showed her in a teaser scene.
They still have a lot of people they can kill off. I'd be surprised if one is Carol.
Could be...he had a weird-assed look on his face...even for Darryl.I wonder if somebody has Carol or Beth hostage, and Daryl is telling that person/people to come on out because it's just Michonne by herself. Daryl is leading their captors back to the church, while Beth/Carol is at gun/knife point.
I seriously hope they don't, at least for a while. There is an innocence about her that is completely lacking in all the other characters...thus their response to her being there can add depth in numerous ways. I mean Rick has Carl, but he's already corrupted, maybe more than all of them because he's sort of grown up before and after, both. Judith on the other hand is oblivious, and her mere presence has made Rick more determined than ever to hold his group together and forgive past transgressions in the name of saving his child. I know what happened to her (already by this time) in the comic...I hope they don't go in that direction for a while. They teased it with the bloody car seat, I am hoping that's where it stays for a while. In the early part of the scene in the church, I kept thinking, OK, you've got them, now turn on some lights so you can keep a close eye on their movements. Why is it so dark? But, then, afterwards, it occurred to me that they had the half-light to tone down the gore for an otherwise very brutal scene.
As for Judith's eventual fate, they are dancing on a very thin line there, even for this show. When/if they eliminate her character, that is going to have to be handled with a lot more than their usual delicacy.
Wait, you mean they want ratings? Who knew!Rick: "Besides, I already made you a promise."

So close for being completely, over the top. Just brutal. But no blood, no ra......er......machete chop!
