Finally watched it on DVR last night. Many little things bothered me. The sick pig (um, a virus caused the outbreak so I would think destroying it before one of those stupid MFrs tried to eat the damn thing would be prudent), Carl's sneaking into story time, Rick not capping the bitch when she attacked. I have a feeling that I might not make it through the season if the story lines and situations don't improve.

Well, Carl sneaking in to story time was necessary because she wouldn't have busted out knife training if she knew he was there I imagine out of fear of Rick finding out. But, the rest of it I agree with. The writers of this show are pretty fucking terrible - which is what makes it so astounding that this show does so well.

So what is the deal with the kid throwing up, then apparently dying and turning into a zombie? Has the virus mutated? I don't think he was bitten or scratched (at least that we know of). Maybe that is the new storyline, the zombie virus is now airborne.

Dude at the CDC told Rick that everyone is a carrier. So no matter what you die of, you zombify upon death. Which is why it's fucking ridiculous that anyone sick would be left alone

I was under the impression nobody knew the kid was sick. Also, only Ricks little group knows everyone is a carrier, right? I don't think that's planetary knowledge yet

Plus, there's the fact that dorky told Carl he had attended story time before, and it didn't seem like the first time they showed the kids survival shit.
