I'm guessing it's different than what they say about a one-legged man in an ass kicking contest.

The show has been excellent so far. I'm still waiting for World War Z though. Read a rumor that the story's anti-China slant is making it difficult to finance--the Hollywood money people don't want to take the chance that it will be banned in China, which it will if it stays true to the book.

Comcast Atlanta has the episodes on Demand - so I'm going to catch up this evening after work.

Went out of Friday and bought the Issues 1 and 2 of the Graphic novels. Apparently, each episode is about 1/2 a graphic novel.
They are very well done - I'm interested to see how well the show sticks to the original concept. Thus far - there are clear differences.

Anyone else catch last night's episode? They went away from the Lost thing I was afraid of some, so that was good. It's a really good show, seems like it ends right after it begins, which means I always want more...unfortunately they said there were only like 2 or 3 more episodes in the season

Pilot season... don't want to green-light too many episodes for a show that might garner poor ratings. Just a way to prevent a loss on the show.

Generally speaking that means there should be the traditional 10-12 episodes come next season.

Yeah I looked it up after I posted...6 episodes this year (which means 3 more), then 12 or 13 (I forget which) next year...didn't say when season 2 would start.

I just started watching this show over the weekend (Comcast On Demand has all the episodes) and watched the new episode last night on AMC.

Good show, and I am not one to watch series and such. To me it is kind of like Stephen King's The Stand (book, not mini-series) with Zombies.

Also, anybody else who has watched all the episodes think Shane was sleeping with Rick's wife before the outbreak? Consider the convo they had in the first episode before Rick got shot, and the sleezy way he has acted to get her away from Rick during the ordeal.

Anyway, good entertainment.
