That is still the worst line in TV history. You don't need to speak English to get a pilot's license in the zombie apocalypse apparently.
But I went back and re-watched the episode. It really was one of the better episodes they have put out. The Rick and Darryl fight scene was about the only cheesy/unbelievable moment (basically a slow motion explosion scene ala MASH). But at least Rick's Jeep would not start after facing the biggest bullet barrage on a Jeep we have seen since Nam. But everything else was actually extremely well done in my eyes, the rest of the season could (caps lock on COULD) be good.
I liked the episode for the Negin expo, although I don’t think they needed 55 minutes to basically show that everything was going to fall apart without him in charge. I am going to assume from the dialogue that it was the rotten guts, and not a bite, that has made Gabriel sick, which would open up new cans on inconsistency worms...but I digress.
The Rick and Daryl stuff was embarrassing and unfit for a serious TV drama...it’s almist like the writers are trying to please every type of watcher every episode, and all they do is get everyone bitching because not only can’t they, but they generally aren’t good at their jobs either.
The Dwight/Eugene stuff could go either way, being either one of the more memorable arcs, or a colossal failure. We will see.
