The Walking Dead (Official Thread)

Agreed. I was a couple episodes behind and sat down one evening about a month ago to catch up.....I wasn't even 5 minutes in and I was already reaching for my phone. Stopped, erased all, canceled series recording. The only thing I miss about it is bitching to my wife about how terrible it is.
The MILF was kinda hot, but I can see her in House of Cards. Otherwise, I did the same, I watched until they got to the capsized boat in like the first couple of episodes, then pretended like I never watched it. Horrible waste of time, and one of the worst spinoffs of all time.

FTWD is one of the biggest letdowns ever. First season looked so promising and it went to absolute shit in no time. I struggled through this season and yeah, it was awful. It was the train wreck you could not look away from.

Well it went like the spoilers said. I was surprised how fast the hour seemingly went, given it was really only one central event. I give them credit for keeping it quiet as long as they did, and for incorporating the other death scenes they filmed into the story.

I do think they might have an issue in one aspect. If they really thought this would make everyone hate Negin, I think they miscalculated. The actor is almost too good, he exudes so much charisma that he might have people rooting for him instead of Rick et al. I guess we'll see how it is going forward, but he could end up being one of the fascinating anti-heroes of modern film.

Oh, and LULZ to all the pusscakes online saying they are done with the show because it was too violent. So ripping people's throats out, walkers tearing bodies apart, and capping a girl under the age of 12 were OK...but this was too much? WTFE

Damn. That was rough to watch but extremely well done. Negan is as brutal as described and the actor just kills it. And I did wonder the extent of what they would show and as Bucklion said, they could not have made it any worse. I won't go into it any further and give everyone a chance to watch it, but that was probably the most terrifying/brutal scene of the show thus far.

Kept seeing clips of Negan from the show, including one this morning.

Twenty minutes later the light dawned and I was "OMG! It's the boys' dad!" from Supernatural--he played John Winchester on the show.

Yeah, I'm a little slow to pick up on things like that sometimes.

Lots of people seemed surprised by who died. They must really stay off the internet.

I thought Negan was actually kinda merciful and stupid. If he wanted to subjugate Rick's crew, just take out Rick. They killed a ton of Saviors and that was his revenge? Weak.

Great scene though. And the actor playing Negan is perfect for the role.

Not a whole lot that's merciful about enslavement, is there?
