The Walking Dead (Official Thread)

Please be Carl, please be Carl, please be Carl.
 I don't think Coral will get a kill shot...maybe the little douche tries to cap him and injures him, but he can't shoot for shit (and Enid is coming back for the Twilight tension, thank God for that).

I see a few possibilities. I don't think it will be Rick, Morgan, Darryl, Maggie, or Glenn (yet). Michonne has been nothing this season, but I don't think it's her time yet. I can see it being Carol, especially if Morgan pusses out with that Wolf. I can see it being Tara or Eugene. And I could see it being (gulp) Judith.

I love how things were supposed to pick up...and not shit happened. There was too much stupid shit to even address...the forced conversations of Glenn and Enid that mean absolutely nothing. Oh and of course the fact that somehow he survived that, which has too many inconsistencies to even address. The stupid and meaningless plight of Spencer trying to somehow Spiderman over walkers to execute his awful plan. Tara shooting zombies up until the clip is empty and flipping off Rick. Balloons and helium on the side of the highway. Enid's emo trip and defiance. The dumbass kid trying to kill Coral (maybe still will). Everyone knows I am usually a big defender of this show but I'm even starting to get sick of this nonsense despite a good start to the season. And now we have a zombie breach to conclude the mid-season finale...has that ever happened before?

Rant over...I am a little curious to see why the balloons were released. The obvious reason would be that Glenn released it as a sign that he was ok. But if they wanted to throw a twist, it is because one of them died/was attacked while they looked at Alexandria. And there has to be a major death. P.S., Darryl has not met back up with them and is stranded from what I recall. After Glenn is alive, it has to be somebody big that dies I would think. I think it will be Maggie. She is so caught up in getting to Glenn that after seeing a sign of hope, I think she does something foolish and goes to meet that big bearded father-farmer in the sky (Hershel). And Glenn sees it. If they just hug and kiss, she tells him she is pregnant, and they move on, I might as well be watching a fairy tale.

Darryl is with Abe and Sasha on the way back in the gas truck that he found.

I feel like they've done a great job capturing what the emotional state of mind might look like in these circumstances in general, and it's the Glen/Enid situations that add so much more to that.

I really think you just don't like the storytelling.

There has been a whole assload of arc development for many of the cast (which mind you is a very big one) through the course of six 44 minute episodes (and one longer one).

The bulk if this shows writing is done between the lines. That's what makes it so widely discussed and talked about.

Not every episode is gold, but damn has this season been solid so far on the whole.
