The thread where Diddy explains his social media policy (split from Z. Smith)

His tweets are being read by about 5,000 people. Articles on College Spun misrepresenting the meaning of his tweets probably get 100 hits. Hell, if you walked into an OSU bar on game day and asked "Who is Zach Smith?" maybe three people would know. Most fans that don't read message boards wouldn't know Tom Herman from Ed Warriner from Tim Beck.

His tweeting is really not a big deal to anyone over the age of about 25, and the kids he is trying to reach think it's funny. This stuff is hardly an embarrassment to the program.
It's funny how your 2nd paragraph sounds like the argument over the black jerseys. They don't embarrass the program and the kids like them.
Smith is cool, and kids do like him and he can relate to them, which makes his appeal to recruits that much more important. He sends some tweets that some fans get their butts tight over, but until our WR corps falls off, and we don't have an offense that still strikes fear in most of the defenses in the nation, the stop worrying. Like has been stated, Smith has worked through a lot of injuries to his group, ad rebuilt a group that ha next to nothing. Imagine if Brown, Smith, Wilson and Campbell were actually healthy this year...

The best part was where Diddy said that that Smith isn't good enough because he hadn't been hired by Herman, Ash or Withers... as if being hired by Urban Meyer wasn't good enough.

Can't wait for him to come back again in six to eight weeks to talk shit about the topic du jour.

I mean, imagine if Tibor were humorless enough to take his own opinions seriously. That's Diddy.

The thing I appreciate most about diddy are the hot takes he offers straight off the Bucknuts presses. It confirms what an awful place it is, being run by awful people, without ever having to actually go there.

So you're saying I should reconsider a move??

When you put together a coaching staff, it's important to have as many different personalities as possible. You want every player to be able to identify with someone when they need the most support. From the older brother type in Smith to the much older Larry Johnson/Coombs and everything in between.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall Smith doing anything obnoxious. The worst I remember is when that clown Michigan assistant (who no one had previously heard of) decided to start something by posting a picture of himself (and his purported accomplishments) along with a picture of Smith and his. Smith responded, but wasn't the one who initiated the pissing match.

You are wrong.
Shane McMahon has a long inglorious history on Twitter.
I won't go through the list.
Most recently his tantrum directed at Target was a fireable offense.
If one of my employees did that they would face serious discipline up to termination.
If it was just the Malibou's Most Wanted act on Twitter, I could overlook it. But alas it isn't. Trust me.

Well fuck. We have to trust you per international internet law.

His WRs, while maybe not the most talented bunch in tOSU history when he took over, were the best blocking WR's I've ever seen in CFB, as a unit. That's 100% coaching
