What DC said. Besides, if you're making minum wage and have a family, your all-saving givernment (typo intended) has food stamps and other assistance.

Liberal commentator Michael Tomasky, writing about the strategy in the 1990s and again in 2011, called it "wrongheaded and self-defeating", writing: "It apparently didn't occur to [Cloward and Piven] that the system would just regard rabble-rousing black people as a phenomenon to be ignored or quashed."[7]

Purposely crashing any system is just crazy talk. The chaos created would precipitate riots. And that's just not the answer for any massive system be it Welfare or VA. You systematically seek out the rot and clean it up.

I think what's happening now in Texas, mass immigrant crossing from central america, coming after being told that they wouldn't deported thus creating a crisis is a fine example of the Cloward and Piven at play. Someone is fooling these people into coming at at this moment we have about 80,000 locked up and awaiting deportation. I don't watch television so I'm not sure if this is being covered.

I feel badly for those coming here from central america. They come here to escape the violence and poverty of their homeland unknowingly selling their souls to Satan, leaving their loved ones behind to live in the land of the spiritually impoverished in exchange for a handful of shekels.
