Strength of schedule matters but losing 2 of 3 top games when the other teams only have one loss and are conference champs doesn't. Conference championships matter to put one team that was comparable above another but not to the other team. Also apparently Best wins mattered in 2014 and 2016 but not any other year. Alll the while ESPN lobs the committee softballs cause it fits their narrative and they don't want to reveal the committee as a farce or sham it really is.

No the "Beat Purdue shit" shouldn't stop. If we beat them we were in, point blank, period. You and the rest of the scarlet glasses mafia can bitch and moan all you want, but OSU controlled their own destines and shit the bed in West Lafeyette. Just like last year they cost themselves a spot against Iowa. You can try and ignore it if you want. Funny thing is, the same "bullshit" you speak would've happened to OSU if we were undefeated, and would've gotten the benefit of the doubt and other fanbases would've been pissed at OSU. What's the big deal with UGA? It doesn't affect us if we were all of the sudden ranked #5, we still wouldn't be in the CFP and still be going to the Rose Bowl. So UGA is rated higher, they go to a NY6 just like us. It is what it is.

The deal with UGA is if Oklahoma lost yesterday it's entirely possible ESPN and Kirby Smart would have cried Georgia into a playoff spot they in no way deserve. They shouldn't get a pass on that cause oooh it was number 5. They don't belong in the discussion and the fact that a late night whine fest by ESPN and their head coach got them their is concerning as fuck.

Who cares IF OU lost!?! They didn't! No one says anything when UFM cried and whined his way into the BCS NC bowl game with UF against OSU, when honestly it could've been a OSU-scUM rematch. Blue blood schools get the benefit of the doubt at times, we've been victims and been the ones who won over in those arguments(2016, we whined our ways in). Every year fans are going to want to "blow up" the system when it doesn't go their team's favor. If OSU got in this year, than OU fans would want an expansion and to blow it up. Just like March Madness, fans cry and complain when their team isn't selected, but have no problem when they are. Happens every year

Difference is March Madness takes the champions automatically, and then another 23 more. Only average teams bitch there. Here, we can't even find room for the 5 big champs and any of the little ones.

Do you honestly think Georgia in anyway deserves #5? This isn't a blow up the system cause 2 closely matched teams were not in. This was a committee ignores all their guidelines cause oooh Georgia almost beat Bama. That is literally their only reason for being in the discussion.

Similarities are that teams with good records don't get in because the regular season is utterly meaningless. And the conference tourneys to win conferences are next to a joke
