The Polls (AP, Coaches, & CFP, etc.)

So now we know that playing and wining a conference title has zero bearing on playoff rankings. ND doesn't play one, was never that impressive, and got in comfortably. Georgia choked one away and the CFP basically said, "We want to put you in, but there'd be a riot."

As far as I'm concerned, as much as it's railed on, losing to Purdue by 29 really didn't matter. They could've lost by 3 and it would've been a similar result. OSU is going to continue to struggle to get in with anything but an undefeated record.

SEC bias is alive and well and they're basically gifted 2 spots every year.

Bama, Clemson, ND and Oklahoma. Who knew? It’s almost as if it was so easy to figure out that an ESPN circle jerk wasn’t needed.
No that's fine the Georgia push that started last night and apparently had an influence is a god damn embarassment the committee should be raked over the coals for it. But Since it's ESPN's show and their narrative they will get a pass.

I’m surprised anyone is shocked by this. It’s blatant. I told my wife exactly what 1-6 would look like before they were even close to announcing it. Didn’t need to watch.

Called Georgia getting a pat on the back for their game against Bama at #5 as well.

They will do anything they want to fuel their agenda. It’s a business decision. No one there has any interest placed above money.

And honestly, why should they? No one is making them change it. If you had a chance to continually line your pockets, would you do the opposite of that? Doubtful.

Beat Purdue and we were in. I think Clemson will see the same thing as well, if they would've lost in the season to a Syracuse or UNC, then they'd be in the same position as us. But the ACC is just so bad that an 18yo can win that conference, and they're the only team in the conference with a solid pulse.

2 things....

LETS PUT THE 4 BEST TEAMS OUT THERE! But also, the point spreads for both are 2 touchdowns.

And, putting UGA in at 5 has nothing to do with what they think of UGA. They needed a buffer so they could say with a straight face that the OU/OSU decision wasn't close. That's all it is. They don't honestly think their criteria puts UGA 5th.

This system is so bad it's difficult to fathom.

However, I wonder if the Big 10 has learned their lesson? As long as they are playing an extra conference game ever year they are fucking themselves while the SEC & ACC are cruising against FCS schools.

Its cost the conference a playoff spot 2 years in a row now. Time to wake the fuck up and make a change.

Agree. Go back to 8 and start scheduling Florida A&M and Citadel.
