The Polls (AP, Coaches, & CFP, etc.)

3 of 4 years of the playoffs and the same teams will play in the finals and rout the semis. CFB is an absolute joke, cant wait for Sunday and real football. Like I said at the beginning of the season, the championship was Bama's to lose from the start.

I would be surprised to not see a similar result again next year. If something doesn’t change with scheduling parity or playoff modifications (or both) I really think CFB ratings / popularity are going to degrade on an accelerated pace. It was not enjoyable to watch those games unless you’re a fan of those 2 teams or really have a thing for the Domers. 90+% of America is sick of watching Bama and Clempson. I admire what those coaches are doing but it’s not great for the overall health of the sport.

Oh there's absolutely no doubt that Bama and Clemson already have 2 spots locked in the CFP for the foreseeable future and everyone else is fighting for the other 2. Parity has usually been a joke in CFB, but this just takes it to new levels. Those 2 have a stranglehold, and I'm not mad at them, because if OSU was in one of those positions I'd be ecstatic to be seen as a lock every year. But the CFP is a joke as is CFB

Putting this here for when people question the Mouse's vested financial interest in the ACC (to go with the SEC).

remember all the poll shenanigans involving ACC teams?

Just a coincidence.

Which is why the B1G (and bring the PAC along) should have gone all in on Fox while we still have the leverage. Being tied even halfway to a network that is literally our enemy and actively working against the interests of ourselves and our conference is a recipe for eventual disaster.

I'm thinking there's a good chance Ohio State (at 13-1) could end up #3 in the rankings.

Ohio State will end up 12th. Herp Derpstreit will vote them 25th and excuse it by saying he was tired after hitting too many post-game buffets.
