I guess if you dig deep enuf you can find this stuff... they have die-hard fans so you have to appreciate that...
but Rutgers fans are very realistic about this game...

I've been to the Tulane game and talked to season ticket holders.. I am surrounded by alumni and students.. I see them at the gym
there's a bunch flying in for the game.. I've watched every game

Rutgers is fun to watch but
they are a function of which Gary Nova shows up
Nova does not do well with pressure.. that's where this game will be lost
and despite my hopes the game would be 'close' for my daughters sake (who is flying out there along with bunch of alumni friends)
I am concerned that this could get out of hand quickly... they've not seen a Bosa/Bennett
expect Ash to send the house... they will ATTACK Nova and he'll get rattled... you cannot give Nova time, he has excellent touch

They have 2 really good WRs... #4 Carroo and #19 Turzilli.. I highly suspect one of them will bust a long one...
LB Longa is OSU-tier; and there's another kid I can't remember the name that is really good

Here's how it will play out
game will be competitive early on (unless Ash sends all 11.. then it's over early)
eventually Rutgers will make a really good drive and attempt a field goal - they'll botch it (and the self doubt will germinate)
OSU will strike back quickly.. and kick off followed by the chorus line:
Nova will get destroyed on 1st down, then they'll run Peoples.. it'll be 3rd and long.. Nova will get pressured/rattled... and maybe INT..
Games over...

I have a number of Jersey friends, since I went to school in VA. And it seems to be the same sentiment across the board: false bravado but they all realistically know their team isn't on the same level as OSU. Especially after seeing the Maryland game, which had a more athletic and faster team and slightly better defense. I don't see why when Barrett gets rolling we don't drop 40+ onRutgers too.
