THE GAME, tOSU at tCun, Sat. 11/25, 12pm ET, FOX

I think the term I would use to critically describe most of Days teams since 2020...non chalant. They also don't seem to improve much as the season progresses.

Something about your best player giving up on plays that doesn't sit right with me. In this game?? In THIS fucking game??? It's baffling. There really seems to be a viral sense of "this is just another game" amongst the team. Not good.

They played physical today...not part of my criticism at all. Just a lack of an overarching killer instinct. And frankly (as Jax pointed out) this type of shit will not allow you to punch up or even at your level effectively.

I'm pissed. I truly believed that without Stalions we would go in there and beat them. This was a pure nut punch. That being said, I'm not going to start ranting for coaching changes that 100% aren't going to happen (and shouldn't happen). I'm also not going to start pissing on our players. Hell, I'm relieved that CJ continues to be proud to be Buckeye and is maintaining a relationship with the school after some of the shit he took from our "fans."

McCord was the problem lol. Not Day
Totally agreed.

I hate to say it. And I hate to point fingers but the major blemish?

Not going after Caleb Williams or Drake May.

Kyle never progressed all year. He was always the worry and always the fear and my emotional response? Won’t be the answer next year either.

No idea who’s out there right now but we need something better at quarterback

Disagree. This was a top 3 match up on the road. Trying to treat it as win or bust was always strange to me.

Until Day wins big games consistently, people will have questions and understandably so. If you want to fire him to preemptively that's fine. I don't think there's a point to dismissing someone winning 11 games a year. 95% chance you hire someone worse while turning the staff and roster upside down.

So did Tressel and Urban.

:slappy:

hold on, did you just compare Day to Urban Meyer and Jim Tressel?

I think you might want to go check the trophy case my man

Totally disagree.

We just lacked a playmaker at QB.

IMO, we need a Troy Smith bad ass MF

IIRC, they are one of the most experienced teams in CFB. They're losing their best players on offense. They're going to be a very different team next year. As for the NCAA, you're right, that's definitely a wildcard, but they're talking/acting more pointedly that usual and there are 2 investigations that will have punishments meted out.

What that means against us in our current form remains to be seen. Momentum means a helluva lot in a rivalry and they have all of it right now.
This dUMb team is an anomaly. With the new NIL rules, the relaxed portal, and no COVID, there aren’t going to be teams with 147 seniors in the future like they had this year.

For those who want Day fired as a play caller only, you realize that's literally the only thing he does.... he was never the CEO of a little league team let alone any D 1 college team before being handed the keys by king Nepotism himself Urbz. He was a play caller.
