Considering he's done it at MSU, I'd say Dantonio is elite.

That has as much to do with recruiting as anything else. Dantonio has found success with underwhelming recruiting classes...
Saban is an outstanding coach, but I think his record has demonstrated he doesn't do half as good without the talent advantage.

I think Franklin at Penn St is the real deal. Considering the talent level and depth issues with the lack of scholarships, 6-6 this season was pretty remarkable -- and to think they pushed OSU to double OT, lost to UM by 5, Maryland by 1, and Illinois by 2. He finished off a Top 25 recruiting class last season despite the sanctions, and now has a Top 10 class without.

He's 42, a Pennsylvania guy that's not going anywhere, and very charismatic and energetic. I anticipate he's going to be a major pain in our ass for 15 years or more.
