That has as much to do with recruiting as anything else. Dantonio has found success with underwhelming recruiting classes...
Saban is an outstanding coach, but I think his record has demonstrated he doesn't do half as good without the talent advantage.

Considering the talent level and depth issues with the lack of scholarships, 6-6 this season was pretty remarkable -- and to think they pushed OSU to double OT, lost to UM by 5, Maryland by 1, and Illinois by 2. He finished off a Top 25 recruiting class last season despite the sanctions, and now has a Top 10 class without.

He's 42, a Pennsylvania guy that's not going anywhere, and very charismatic and energetic. I anticipate he's going to be a major pain in our ass for 15 years or more.
