Texas Longhorns (big hat, no cattle; please don’t Horns Down us)

The fact that the thread has existed for 15 years is what's fucking weird. But your coach with the plastic surgery, or whatever the fuck makes him look so creepy, is weird too, so it all makes sense now

We have plenty threads that are 20+ years old.
15 is rookie numbers. You're not important - but we get it, Texas always thinks they're important. And that's why nobody likes you.

As this forum’s #1 source for everything related to LSU Athletics and Gumbo, I just wanted to welcome you here
Joe Burrow was otherworldly that season. LSU fans are so damn hospitable at their tailgates (and the food is so awesome) that I can’t hold a grudge, even when you beat our asses in football or baseball (I was in Omaha for the 2009 CWS when one of the best pitchers we’ve ever had, Taylor Jungmann, forgot how to throw a strike in the bottom of the 9th inning and couldn’t put the game away).

The Buckeye team we beat in 2005 was stacked with guys like Troy Smith, Bobby Carpenter, AJ Hawk, Ted Ginn Jr., and Santonio Holmes. The game was an instant classic. In 2006, the Buckeyes beat freshman QB Colt McCoy in only his second career start, so congratulations. Hopefully that win keeps you from thinking about getting Tebowed by the Gators in the natty later that season.

That's sweet, thanks man. Hopefully that Fiesta Bowl win over a freshman Terrelle Pryor keeps you from thinking about Marcel Dareus sinking your program for a full decade+ and nuking Macs tenure in Austin.

You're doing terrific.

We're on Page Number 199 of this thread. I think it's time to admit that we're jealous of them.
Of course, then we'll have to admit we're jealous of Cincinnati (186 pages), Notre Dame (234 pages), Lane Kiffin (150 pages), Miami Hurricanes ((250 pages), Nebraska (190 pages), Jim Harbaugh (715 pages), Illinois (174 pages), and Penn State (1819 pages).

I think the nice thing about BuckeyePlanet is that the threads are all combined. We don't have 20+ game threads. We have 1 game thread. Go onto another team's message board - they have 20+ game threads. They have 3+ threads about how the officiating screwed them. Go to a Notre Dame board - I bet there's multiple threads about how they only had 10 players on the field at the end. So a team has 200 pages on it. A bunch of those posts are dildo pictures, or a meme about what it's like at that state, or laughing at a fan. Some are "Hey, this team just upset this other team, and here's some articles about it." Some are "Sad news today that one of our players was diagnosed with this or that." Of course, 70% of Penn State's thread is me posting dumb shit that Penn State fans post on their own forums about how they were screwed in this or that.

"Your coach is ugly."

Yo' mama, she ugly. Bevo, he ugly. And talk 'bout ugly colors; burnt orange.

And while I'm here, I went to Surly Horns and noted you and your fellow fans devoted over five pages to the Ohio State v Notre Dame game and if I squirrel around long enough I'll find posts that go back 15 years on various topics, mostly Aggies, but the number of coaches come and gone, what's wrong with Texas football, the Big 8/10/12/6, Refs that cost you games.

This leads me to the conclusion that fans in Texas are much the same as fans in the rest of the college football world.

Cincinnati at 186 pages? Ok so it’s right in-line with another middling Big 12 program and seems appropriate!
