Unfortunately, I think we're going to have to suffer through this year. Ewers is the real deal. He has a good supporting cast, and the B12 is a steaming pile of crap. That being said, they won't sustain it, and the inevitable collapse will be stunning. Hell, since the mid-70s, the best they've managed was one six-year period of national relevance, and they needed two generational quarterbacks in a row to do that. Manning is a glorified three-star and will be quickly exposed.

Ewers still has really sloppy footwork and seems to live to throw off his back foot. Thus the inconsistency. I don’t see the week in week out performance from him.
