On a serious note, I went to our last game against A&M back in 2010 and most of their fans are great people that were very friendly and welcoming to us. That being said, there was a noticeable minority that was very strange, and a lot of their ROTC group's traditions were just flat out bizarre. They said it was a military thing, well I served 4 years in the military it didn't look like anything I'd ever seen.

If Ohio St. ever schedules a game against A&M and anyone here goes you'll have a pretty good time at the tailgate, just stay away from the Corps of Cadets.

Every officer I ever ran across who was an A&M grad seemed to be the spitting image of Maj. Powers in Heartbreak Ridge.

Ha! I knew a grizzled old gunnery sgt who commanded the Marine security detail at my last embassy posting. At the Christmas party right before Ohio State played aggy in the Sugar Bowl, he came up to me and said that he hoped Ohio State kicked their ass. I asked him if he was from Ohio or had any Ohio State connections. He just got this disgusted look on his face and said, "No. It's just that I can't stand A&M. That school sends me the worst officers in the corps."

I can't wait for some of these SEC!x3 schools' reactions the first time the aggy fake army marches through the middle of their town on their way to the stadium.
