My aggy friend just gave me great news. Their Pres is stepping down in 2014, Rick Perry isnt running for re-election that year.... Oh lord please let the guy who wanted to turn UT into a 10k a year diploma mill work his magic on alma mater. There is already a thread on Texasags i guess.

I told my friend that Perry was just going to bring them down to the level of the rest of the SEC!SEC!SEC!

There are a few of us who would remain undaunted by the Academic downfall of Texas A&M. Its a blessing and a curse not having to give two shitz about the academic standing of your league opponents.

Report: Johnny Manziel Kicked Out of Manning Camp For Sleeping Through Meetings

It looks like Johnny Football is the center of controversy once again. Texas A&M Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel has found himself in hot water at the Manning Camp after he failed to show up for numerous meetings. Manziel was 'sick' according to the camp officials, which is often code for hungover, after a night out on the town Friday night and he could not throw on Saturday night.

However, it appears Manziel was kicked out of the Manning Camp for partying too hard:
"Something kinda unbelievable, Johnny Football was asked by the Mannings to leave, hence the reason why he didn't throw. [He] slept through all the staff meetings came out to practice only once. Amazing. [He] shouldn't do that anyway but definitely not to the Manning's. I never saw him once. Heard some ladies snapped a pic of him and McCarron in the bar and it hit twitter and he wasn't happy about that."

Peter King of the NFL reported later that Manziel was at a local establishment seen drinking a few with Alabama QB A J McCarron. But I guess you have to watch where you go anymore because if your famous in life, then you are going to be in the spotlight at all times.

Surprise!

Texas A&M football quarterback Johnny Manziel early Monday pleaded guilty to failing to identify himself to police after a fight at Northgate, putting to rest a court case that followed him on his road to winning the Heisman Trophy.

The plea agreement called for Manziel to pay the maximum fine of $2,000, spend two days in jail and pay $232 in court costs. He didn't have to spend any time behind bars, however, because the judge considered it time served since he was jailed following the June 2012 arrest by College Station police.

Yes, photos of Manziel and McCarron drinking together at a bar are circulating on Twitter. However, there are also photos of McCarron drinking with both Manning bros at the same establishment ...

For the record, McCarron is 22, while Manziel is still only 20 so legally should not have been served alcohol.

Bartender was clearly an LSU fan. He forced those drinks on Johnny Football in an attempt to get him in trouble and keep him off the field /Aggie

Actually, aggy has started to turn on Johnny Hatecrime a bit. The longhorn tattoo and the "get me out of closet station" tweets are starting to wear them down. Some of them are actually aware enough to realize that their savior has turned out to be a 2%er--oh, the sick irony in that. Now if he wins, I'm sure that all will be forgiven and forgotten rather quickly. If however, the wheels come off, starting with a good plungering by alabama, then the meltdown and venom will rival that of BWI.

If the later somehow happens, where does he go from there? Stick it out in College Station amidst the haters, declare for the Draft and hope the damage done isn't too severe, or transfer?

the legal drinking age is merely a suggestion in Thibodaux, LA.

i live about 30-40 minutes south of there, and was a regular at all of those bars when in college.
some of those bars will sell to absolutely anyone.

Funny that their current BLACK head coach was the SEC Coach of the year in 2012, as well as delivered them their second Heisman trophy winner (first Freshman to ever do so), along with being one of the only guys to beat the Nicktator in his rookie season in the conference, let alone at a brand new school. And he's won 70% of his games as a head coach.

Guess who's right in front of him? Some guy named Bo that played at The Ohio State University, LOL
