Texas A&M Aggies, aTm (official thread of jizz jars)

In my head I have this image of Mack Brown going to Johnny's house one afternoon in 2011, meeting the parents, engaging in about five minutes of uncomfortable awkward conversation, then asking if they had considered A&M.

No no, he steered him away on purpose by saying Texas wanted him as a Safety instead of a QB :wink2:

Gonna be honest. I don't think Tejas even offered him, not sure it even got to that point. However Mack with Johnny would left me in stitches from laughing so hard. Mack hates the attention the media gives even more so now that they have the Longhorn Network. I think Johnny mighta forced him into retirement

This kid is an epic disaster waiting to happen. Let aggy enjoy their little transitory window of success. It won't be long. Sumlin is too good a coach to stay in College Station for more than a couple of seasons.

OK, old school old fart here... why would anyone think that getting drunk and shooting off your mouth was cool... let me re-phrase that, why would any adult think that getting drunk and shooting off your mouth was a) cool? b) adult behavior? c) represented you and your team in a positive light?

"Act like you've been there before," comes to mind.

Even more puzzling to me is that the talking heads on TV believe JFF's behavior to be appropriate along with endorsing Ortize throwing a dugout fit in which he smashes a telephone with a bat just inches from the head of a teammate.

What is wrong with acting like a mature, responsible, sensible person?

Johnny Football is well on his way down the life path blazed by this guy- probably without the whole coaching career thing thrown in, though.
