Imo, a more reasonable viewpoint would be that neither side can handle the oppositions strength most of the game.

Bama can't shut down their receivers imo.
Texas can't line up and move bama's stout men up front.

Bama can't handle Texas' fierce pass rush or coverage.
Texas can't handle bama's physical running game.



Can someone explain why they stopped running underneath passing plays? That's their bread and butter and they go away from it with a rookie? Why?
