They just announced that McCoy is not coming back.

Folks, I just shut off my surround sound. Stopped the recording of my DVR. I'm laying on my couch rather than sitting attentively.

In short, I'm fucking done.

but you would judge a team by their performance in one game even though they are winning,and in the national title game...You don't need to pass when you have bama's running game.

No success up the middle, big yards are coming from the sweeps. WR's have stone hands. The D is arm tackling, whiffing and doing everything else but tackling. The Bama QB hasn't done a damn thing, but they are successful because they are opening holes, WR's have caught the one of two passes, and the D is tackling.

I disagree about their defense. Other than Richardson's TD I think they've done better than most expected from them.

McCoy is officially not coming back, and neither am I. I'm gonna play some Super Mario Bros. - you guys have fun.

I have always really liked the gameday crew as it was before Herbie went to the booth, Desmond joined and they started with the guest pickers, but I agree that Lee should really put his health first. I always liked him on the show, because he doesn't take himself seriously. Hopefully, it isn't anything serious, and probably not, but...

Yes, and Alabama's D would have to defend misdirection vs defending predictible. And Texas's D would get 5-8 minutes rest between possessions versus 45 seconds rest.

Running the ball is a good excuse for giving up a sack on 50% of your pass attempts? Hell, it's hardly judging McElroy on one game; he's been flaky all year.

I am not giving up on this game yet. I didn't think Texas would win this game anyway, and it's actually closer than I expected at this point. I still don't think they will win, but I'm interested in seeing what individual players have to offer.
