Terrell Owens (official thread of nonsense)

Can anyone explain what was wrong about what Keyshawn said? (at least before the wed reply where he added the elementary dig)
nothing at all. At least its black on black because, if it was a white man saying it, it would be called some type of racism and whats so bad about johnson sticking up for parcells against T.O'S stupid comments against parcells.

Huh?

I love TO for calling Keyshawn's punk ass out.

Meshawn is a joke. Arrogant, and can't back it up.

TO backs up his shit by being the best receiver in the league.

Yeah, except Keyshawn never even really said anything. He didn't attack TO. He simply said that Parcels deserves some credit for the Cowboys' success this season. And guess what? He's fucking right.

TO is just such a selfish fucking me-first player, that he could not stand to have someone give Parcells credit. His tirade against Keyshawn is one of the most un-called-for attacks I've ever seen from a player.

Who gives a shit if he's a great receiver? He's a fucking prick. It's undeniable. And while I should be getting enjoyment out of watching a supreme athlete excell at his profession, I instead find myself hoping for someone to give him a "lights out" across the middle. And I mean, a serious "lights out", career-ending knockout. Why? 'Cause fuck him, that's why.

I don't see what's "stupid" about saying that a coach didn't take advantage of your freakish abilities and utilize you correctly. He's currently leading the league in receiving yards, yards-per-catch, and he's 2nd in TDs, not like he's some scrub situational receiver bitching about playing time.

Problem is when "that player" talks, all he says is "me"-this and "I"-that. That mother fucker could care less about team. There's a reason why he's had a personality conflict with so many people. It's because he's:

A GRADE A PRICK.

So? Does that mean he's wrong about Parcells?

Because it's immature and pathetic. He's having a tremendous season, why can't he enjoy and focus on that, instead of continuing to whine about how he was poorly utilized last season?

Imagine if Troy 06, in the midst of a tremendous season, kept taking shots at Tressel for how he didn't utilize him properly in 05. Whining during success takes a special kind of self-centered and childish.

Yes. He hated Parcells because he wasn't treated like a God in the lockeroom. Parcells wouldn't kneel down before him and suck his dick. It's a shame that a coach needs to do that in order obtain TO's respect. It's a shame that a coach needs to pamper him in order for him to be at his best.

first of all, it was a Romes beginning, who as really turned into a great one this season and T.O set the record for the most drops by a WR in a season.Face it, T.O is a fucking idiot and I started hating him at San Fran when he started, bad mouthing jerry rice for getting to many passes thrown to him.

You're making it seem like he's calling press conferences and asking for TV time just to bitch about Parcells. He was asked in a one-on-one interview with ESPN what the difference between Phillips are Parcells is, he answered. Then Keyshawn came riding in on his morality horse. He's not going out of his way to bash Parcells. It's just another case of ESPN trying to create drama, much like their weekly 'T.O., Parcells, and Cowboys on the verge of collapse' stories last year.

Tressel was Troy's coach in '06. Parcells is not Owens' coach in '07. Troy taking shots at Tressel in '06 would've had an affect on the team and atmosphere. Owens' taking shots at Parcells, after being continually asked about him in interviews by the same people who are now up in arms about his answer, has no affect on the team. Slight difference.

Neither of you answered the question.

I honestly couldn't care less about what either of you think of him as a person. Everyone already knows about his personality. Was he wrong about Parcells not utilizing him correctly and taking advantage of his talents, or do both of you know something that Owens and I, a Dallas that watches Dallas games, don't?

Because he was asked the diffrence between last year and this year, and the diffrence in the coaching..

He answered the question from my perspective.

Journalists are indeed drama scripters. That doesn't remove responsibility from those who embrace those opportunities. Plenty of mature players sidestep questions or walk away from interviews when asked to trash an opponent, teammate, coach, etc.
You're making it seem like he's calling press conferences and asking for TV time just to bitch about Parcells. He was asked in a one-on-one interview with ESPN what the difference between Phillips are Parcells is, he answered.
If you sincerely believe he didn't welcome the opportunity to jump on that soapbox, I've got a bridge to sell you. He surely knew what they'd be discussing in the interview. Watch him smile every time the topic is broached, he loves that topic.
Tressel was Troy's coach in '06. Parcells is not Owens' coach in '07. Troy taking shots at Tressel in '06 would've had an affect on the team and atmosphere. Really? So Keyshawn is the ONLY cowboy with any loyalty towards Parcells?

Perhaps troy was a bad example. I would think it pretty classless, and very unnecessary/unfocused if AJ Hawk routinely took shots at Mark Snyder during the 05 season. It would hardly excuse him if the journalist dared to ask a leading question like those posed to TO.
Neither of you answered the question.
I don't answer rhetorical questions.

Perhaps if he had spent more time focusing on his job, and less time throwing temper tantrums, he might not have led the league in drops, many coming at crucial times.
