Really? To attack the person that said that Cooper deserves credit?

I don't recall that at all. Everyone knows that Cooper deserves some credit for that run.

ESPN - Report: T.O. apologizes, says he was kidding about Simpson - NFL

Terrell Owens has another message for Jessica Simpson: I'm sorry.

The outspoken Dallas Cowboys wide receiver said Wednesday that he was kidding when he said Simpson was a distraction to Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and said he has apologized to Romo, the Dallas Morning News reported. He added that he also hopes to speak to Simpson.

"I tried to get [Romo] to call her so I can explain to her that she doesn't really know me and that I can be funny," Owens said, according to the newspaper. "And that everything I say, the media will take it and run with it. It's not a big deal. I will try to rectify the situation between her and I."

ESPN - T.O. heads to locker room in 2nd quarter, will not return to game - NFL

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Dallas receiver Terrell Owens left the Cowboys' game Saturday night against Carolina because of a left ankle injury.

The team said at halftime that he would miss the rest of the game.

Owens' leg got caught underneath him when he was tackled by Jon Beason on a 4-yard catch in the second quarter. After limping around on the sideline for several minutes, Owens walked to the locker room.

A television camera later caught Owens walking near the locker room without a shoe on his left foot, accompanied by a trainer and agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Owens had five catches for 48 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown catch, before he was injured. The TD was Owens' team-record 15th of the season.
