TE Jeremy Ruckert (New York Jets)

Marcus Baugh wasn't the most devastating blocker in the history of the TE position.

If this kid is as advanced a pass catcher as the hype suggest then I'm sure they'll find a way to get him on the field until the blocking catches up.

Yep.

Gesicki from Penn State is well below average as a blocker. I still wouldn't want to take him off the field if he was on the Buckeyes.

And a lot of that with blocking as a TE is desire to do so.....Jeremy loves to block and has thrown some nasty ones. He's not afraid to get his nose dirty. I know he will have his work cut out for him, but I expect him to be a true freshman starter for us at TE.

Ruckert is going to be a huge threat in the passing game. He is an elite athlete and is going to cause immense match up problems for defenses. This is only going to make it easier for our other receivers to get open. Really excited to see how Wilson uses him in the Offense.

Plus Coach Mick's regiment can add 20 pounds of muscle on him way with that length. It would be cool to finally have a TE that other team fears.

Future Ohio State stars shine in first U.S. Army Bowl practice

Some Buckeye commits dominated in the first US Army All-American Bowl practice.

Ruckert showed off his impressive athleticism and his sure-fire hands on Monday, which led to multiple big receiving gains. On one of those plays, the aforementioned Johnson was in coverage on Ruckert and landed a big hit on his future teammate following one of those big receptions.
