HI. Remember me? I'm E. Gordon Gee and this thread is about me. I don't think BKB was kidding when he asked you to take this shit.. excuse me.. stuff... to the appropriate thread.

If I didn't know better, I'd say that you're running out of warnings.

UConn got smoked, but the rest of the Big East has actually done pretty well in the bowl season. I hate the league as much as everyone else, but none of the medicore teams they have now have been able to run the table in it or win it year after year...if TCU can go in and dominate, at least they'll show me something.

Big East teams combined to go 5-14 this season against non-Big East BCS schools. Out of those five wins, only one (WVU over Maryland) came against a team that finished with fewer than six losses. I don't see anybody in that group that'll be able to stand up to TCU.

Re: TCU alumni fire back at Buckeyes with billboards

To TCU alumni

The money that you wasted on the billboards probably could have been put to much better use by any of thousands of different charitable organizations. Anyway since you decided to spend your money in Columbus on the billboards; thanks for helping stimulate the local economy.

P. S. We also have bus bench signs that you might consider advertising on too.

Have TCU call back when they have a fanbase

The BCS was created to make money and schools like TCU, Bosie, Cincy, etc don't. Why do you think tOSU makes it to a BCS game every time they have a shot?

The network's coverage of the Sugar Bowl Tuesday night earned the second-highest overnight rating for a college football game in network history

I'm sure the TCU alumni remember this:

In late December of 2007, Ohio State said it had reached a deal to open the 2009 season at home against TCU. Army had recently backed out of a planned series, and the Horned Frogs, coming off an 8-5 season, were set for a one-game trip to Columbus. According to Ohio State, the game had been agreed to but the contract wasn't yet signed. And TCU had that chance with the Buckeyes.
"I'd say Ohio State really wanted it," TCU associate athletic director Jack Hesselbrock, who handles the Horned Frogs' football scheduling, said last week. "They had an opening and needed an opponent, and I think the fans would have liked it and been intrigued by it."
However, TCU backed out.
