The money that you wasted on the billboards probably could have been put to much better use by any of thousands of different charitable organizations. Anyway since you decided to spend your money in Columbus on the billboards; thanks for helping stimulate the local economy.

If you have to put up a billboard to make your argument, you've already lost.

Amen.

TCU wins one big bowl game, and now they're buying billboards in Columbus?

Fugging really, TCU? REALLY?

<sigh>

Epic.Fail.

No shit. Why not buy one in Madison? Or better yet...since it says little sisters of the poor why not buy one at every university they played against? After all it's them you're thanking. I'm sure the good folks at Air Force, UNLV, New Mexico, Tennessee Tech, Wyoming, Utah, Baylor, San Diego St, Oregon St, BYU, Colorado St and SMU would all appreciate it.

Wow! How'd they ever get through that gauntlet?

TCU turns down Wisconsin rematch
"I was contacted probably a week, maybe a week and a half after the bowl game about the opportunity to play TCU in our opener," Bielema said on the show. "It was something that was going to be broadcast and made a big deal. It took me all of about point-five seconds to say, 'Yes.' "

CU athletic director Chris Del Conte on Wednesday confirmed that a third party approached him about playing the Sept. 3 season opener at Wisconsin's Camp Randall Stadium. Del Conte also confirmed that he declined the offer.

However, he said his lack of interest in the game had little to do with a lack of excitement at the prospect of playing the Badgers again, but rather that the one-time meeting would not produce a return game in Fort Worth.

Now, had Ohio State -- whose president, E. Gordon Gee, famously had chided non-BCS conference teams such as TCU for playing schedules littered with the "Little Sisters of the Poor" -- been the Big Ten team seeking a late schedule change, Del Conte said he would have been all ears.

"Oh yeah," he said, "of course."

Didn't they turn down a game a few years ago????..............................

TCU just needs to keep up the charade for one more year until they get in the Big East. An opening game lose to Wiscy ruins their season. If I were them I'd be afraid of playing at Camp Randall too. [boshies]

Don't we own them historically? Wouldn't have any problem with Tressel putting >90 points on them.

TCU beat tOSU in the '57 opener, but the Buckeyes went on to win the Coaches National Title.

TCU also tied the Buckeyes in the '61 opener, the year in which the FWAA named tOSU #1 and the team was unable to play in the Rose Bowl.

The Buckeyes won the other 4 meetings.

Keep the foot on the gas for all 60 minutes. If we're up by 2 TDs or more and have the ball in the last 5 minutes, go for the TD and 2. That's if they're willing to sack up and play us, though.

As much as JT can find some well-directed anger for punishing teams that beat us the previous year (or that play "by the cards"), I'm sure he can dig deep and pull out a real nasty game against someone prodding the giant.
