You act like that site accounts for the rest of Arkansas buying your tickets.. And no, ours didn't go on sale to the public. They were sold out to donors and season ticket holders before the public got their hands on them.

I think we can all move on from the 'Which fan base is gonna represent better.' arguement.

Buckeye fan will be out there in droves. Same is true for Hog fan. The number of Ohio State alumni alive dwarfs the number of Arkansas alums. Counterbalance that with Arkansas being in their first BCS bowl and being frothy...well, that makes for a huge turnout for both parties and a big win for Nawlins and the Sugar Bowl.

Meanwhile, other than the National Championship game, this will be the most watched game on TV. 'Nuff said.

See my previous post. Your donors give chump change compared to the people that were offered tickets in the pre sale at Ohio State ($1500 and up donation people, aka only season ticket holders).

You act like we are poor. Only season ticket holders and donors got our 17,500 also. We have different levels of donors and based on which level you are determines how many tickets you get. My family was only given 6. I'll let you determine how much we donate.

Agreed.

Like the schedule issue I brought up a little bit ago

Dude, you need to donate $1500 per year just to get two tickets in the stadium. It's no joke.

No, ONLY season ticket holders (which are also donors who give a MINIMUM of $1500) were in the pre sale.

Your Razorback Foundation is similar donation level to our alumni club. Different donation club, season ticket holders give to the Presidents and Buckeye Club, which are a minimum $1500 donation. Alumni club only allows donors 1 game a year for tickets, and no BCS pre sale. If Ohio State would have included the alumni club (again, similar donation to your Razorback Club) there would not have been a public sale. This is something I would like to see changed.

You guys represent well, everyone knows that and this thread has devolved into phallus measuring. I have a question though, how did you guys get so many tickets to the games you showed in your videos? I would think that Michigan would be mostly full of season ticket holders with only a handful of single games available, the others as well even if to a lesser extent. Our stadium is always atleast 75% full of season ticket holders, so for us to be outnumbered in our own stadium would require a LOT of the opposing fanbase to donate and buy season tickets for just one game. I know that a lot of Bama fans bought season tickets to Duke this year, but that is different. I think the whole season ticket package was cheaper than a single ticket to Bryant Denny, surely that isn't the case at Michigan????

I think you should drop this argument that Arky is buying up our tickets its stupid...... we will be there in full force dont fool yourself. Nobody gives a shit how much money your mom donates to Arkansas either.

Michigan faithful sold their tickets to Buckeyes.

Right thats what I was actually meaning earlier. That our season ticket holders AND donors get first crack. If you're a donor and season ticket you get top priority. I can't believe your university doesn't do this.

Football is a life-consuming addiction in Columbus.

Average games cost more than face value, great tickets cost 500+ per seat for home games. Likewise, the rest of the big ten knows that OSU fans will overpay to get seats in opposing stadiums, like Michigan. Stadiums like Purdue & Indiana are more because those aren't football schools.

UM fans don't like selling to buckeyes (though a good chunk of it is on Ebay or stubhub so they don't know), but when deciding whether to make $400+ in a tough economy or go to the game, they often choose the latter.

I was mostly clarifying the difference between the 2 pre sales. I will try and make a similar post on your board since people seem to think it's at the same level. It's also something I would like Ohio State to change in the future.

As for how we get tickets, buy them from ebay, stubhub, etc. from the opposing fanbase along with 1 game ticket sales (which happens at places not named Michigan, PSU, OSU, or Wisconsin). That Michigan game was unusual, it's normally not like that. Yet it was a bad year for Michigan (ok, it's been a bad few years). As posted above, in a down year it's hard to turn down $400 a ticket from an Ohio State fan.

Of course I also enjoy the fact places jack up their ticket prices for Ohio State games. I always travel to MSU because there is always single game tickets available, yet they charge around double for them vs. regular games.

One poster with one arrogant post should not cause:

A) a blanket judgment over a fanbase
B) stooping to the same level of trash

Plenty of solid visitors so far...give the troll a second to hang himself and focus on the positive fans with the intelligent discussion.

I agree. We're seeing some good Arkansas posters visiting BP and I am very glad that they are here.
