A stroke? WTF? Glad the kid is ok.

And a ruptured bowel? Was gonna go with a joke here, but that sounds life threatening to me. How is he?

Yeah, the stroke was the craziest thing I'd ever heard...

Until the ruptured bowel.


It was very serious. That's the kind of thing that can cause the kind of infection that will kill you.

I'm happy to report that he's made a full recovery. Lost a lot of weight. Got a medical redshirt. Will come in next year to compete for the starting job.
