Nothing too fancy. 256MB geForce SLI cards. I can't remember the exact number... I had them running together, but my PC was in a cabinet that had good exhaust but not a good inlet. The main card blew all of the 470uF and 1500uF caps, so I removed the PC from the cabinet and have been running the secondary card as a stand alone. It acts up intermittently, so I'm sure that I'll want to replace all of the caps on that board too. I've been an electrical technician/engineer for the last 10 years, so I've got the solder skills to pull it off, I'm just pissed that the basic rule of heat being the enemy is what I overlooked when I put the PC in the cabinet, and is what ultimately is causing these cards to fail.Buckeneye;1738097; said:ehh - hope you have steady hands
What type of cards? I might be able to help out - have a few extra laying around.
