Before the patch went down Against Terran I was using Ultra's. Mid-game I was going speedling-infestor with some roaches just enough to get to Hive Tech. If the person went air I would have a spire/hydra den just in case, if I didn't I would mass queens and just transfuse if there was a rush. It works..... sometimes.

I don't know if you guys watch Day[9] daily's at all but they are quite informative on strats and basic play. I recently watched a Mass Queen build that looked like a lot of fun in ZvZ.

Sounds nice unless its an early terran opponent. I.e. marines, mauraders, medivacs and tanks. You'll never have Ultra's out in time. Which is a serious issue in playing against them.

You better have some damn fine macro's setup in order to pull off the transfuse. Serious props if you do.

I've been rolling with banelings. Damn effective against Terran Mech. Maybe not techs, but Thors... roll a few of those bitches right in and watch the fireworks.

I've been going back to my roots. Muts/Corrupters Broodlords and lings. If you let me get the Broodlords out its over. Like I said earlier, their far more OP than gaurdians and seeing how vespene heavy the Zerg are this go-around the zerglings are usually just for clean up or taking fire.

Working, lifting, running, playing NCAA and enjoying summer... I try to maintain a life outside of Starcraft :biggrin:

If I get Ultra's the +2 Armor from the Ultra Den is essential.

Blings are great. I use them when I see giant balls of grouped units. Hasn't worked for me versus tanks unless I have them burrowed before hand.

Micro for transfuse is something that needs to be practiced and I have yet to dedicate the time towards it.

By the way, I'm severely disappointed with this years NCAA. They will not be getting my money this year..... Ok, I'm too big of an Ohio State fan to not get it.

I've taken a few roaches and rushed that at Thors while the Blings follow right behind. It's incredibly effective and your winning in resources too with maxium unit effectiveness.

When the Beta originally went down (May 30th?) it was slated for 2 weeks.
The last Beta phase would be for the final tweaks and balances and would include every unit & their abilities.


The last part might not be true, but the Beta should be back online non-the less.

Slated for the 27th, that's a Tuesday - being that it'll be a midnight realese at Gamestop I'll be there in line Monday night. I'm sure I'll have to bring a chair too.

Damnit...i'm gone this weekend! Not sure how much i will be able to play next week too. At least it is only a couple weeks until the release.

Have they added anything new to the Beta, like gametypes? Also, any unit/building changes that you know of?
