I thought there were enough decent plot elements in Obi Wan to make a solid 6-part series.
Unfortunately, they decided to make Obi Wan a weak-ass for the first 5 episodes (C'mon, he's a Jedi Master, maybe a little mental toughness here??).
Then, when he finally reverted to being bad-ass, they ended the series with him being a dumb-ass (C'mon, walk away a second time???).

I'm wondering what happens with future Star Wars world movies. I was excited when they announced Rogue Squadron, but that seems to be on a back back back burner. I'm not confident Taika is the right person, but hopefully he proves me wrong, assuming he still does one. Just NO JJ Abrams. His stuff is just a rehash of earlier movies, but poorly done.

Haven’t seen this bumped in awhile so I will bite.

The best show I’ve seen in 2022 is “Andor” and it’s not terribly close.
Yes it’s better than Rings of Power and House of the Dragon. Better than Dahmer and any other True Crime crap. Disney hired the entire staff that made Chernobyl (incredible show) from HBO and gave them total control and the show might/should win multiple emmys.

There are no Jedi
There are no Aliens
There is extremely limited space flight
There might be less than six instances of blasters being used (show is on episode 11 of 12).

It’s a murder mystery show
Then it’s a Heist show
Then it’s a Prison break show in the bleakest prison you can imagine.


Give it a shot. I rarely give anything the BigWoof stamp of approval but this gets it. It’s fantastic.

Now my interest is piqued. Financed, but not ruined by, Disney. Will definitely give it a try.

Just finished it and agree. Best series I've watched this year.
