First, thank you very much...your generosity is amazing and appreciated.

I PM'd you to see how you want to do this...Silent Auction, Raffle, etc.

Anyone else have some ideas for maxing the $$ on these items?

The words "Thank you" seem totally inadequate for your thoughfulness and generosity.

I don't have any ideas on how to raffle them but whatever you come up with I want in on the chance to get one of those beauties.

A few additions and an idea

Since I have been contacted and briefly discussed. Let me throw this idea out there since I added some new donations. 100 raffle tickets, 50.00 each, you raise 5,000. 1 in 8 wins something. You could play with the number of tickets sold or the price to achieve your goal. Maybe a few other people will donate some things for a super raffle Someone email me and let me know.

Wow that is unbelievable. Totally speechless.

Would we rather have a raffle, where not everybody is guaranteed to come away with anything, or a silent auction where everybody that ends up paying gets something? I think I'd rather have an auction. Might be tough to get people to pay 20, 30, 50 bucks for a raffle ticket after already donating quite a bit to the drive.

I think we should hold off on this until the fall... we will easily have 2-3 times as many posters (if not a lot more) after the texas game is over... which would result in a lot more raffle tickets and more money for BP

would buying one raffle ticket get you a particular item or a chance at one of any of them?

but if we go for the silent auction, why not reward the regulars with first crack at the items...

The only thing about an auction is how high people will go when they know the items can be found elsewhere for possibly less...

The raffle would guarantee money...

I can see it now - I'd love to bid, but I can't :smash: get :smash: in :smash: ! :p

Before fall is best, though with t-shirts and the general drive, waiting a month or so not be a bad thing. Give people time to rack up another couple of paychecks.

I also think it would be a good idea to at least have some things be done by raffle. We have so many college students on here that don't have the cash on hand to bid... would be nice to get everyone involved.

What if we did 1 or maybe a couple of items now... as a perk for being a regular. But then did most of them in the fall to bring in revenue... I think this could bring in a truckload of money if we did it in the fall.

Kevin is this was you...thanks!

Buckeye Peeps these are the pictures I was talking about. These are my photos that I took and in working with Kevin he's been able to get tons of signatures. Anyway, I still think the picture of Tressel (in my signature) is a winner and possibly a shot for the ages. Kevin we need to work on this one! It's a CLASSIC shot as the Player's are coming down the Tunnel of Pride and you can see JT's intensity and also the "play sheet" very clearly in his hands!

Yes Scott

it is me. pay it forward, right? As you see, I put in one each of this years seniors you shot including the captains. sounded like they needed 5,000, so I thought if I put up some of my own items to bring it over the top.

Thanks to all who pm'd and posted for the compliments.

Go Bucks
Kevin
