Sports 'journalists' (Who Don't Work For ESPN)

I bet they were real nervous in Stillwater until they found out it was Dohrmann. Then just uproarious laughter all around.

That depends on how many unanimous whistle blowers are willing to talk about all of the raffles they have been having lately.

Edit: I just went back and re-read that report for fun. It is even more laughably shitty now that the smoke has cleared and the wounds are healed.

85% fluff, 8% speculation, 5% the handful of players who got in trouble during Tressel's 20+ year coaching career, 2% things that Ohio State self reported that Tressel didn't come clean about which ultimately got him fired.

Jim Mora Jr. flips out on reporter who interrupts him - Deadspin

Yesterday, UCLA Bruins player Nick Pasquale was killed in a car accident. Head coach Jim Mora Jr. spent some time eulogizing Pasquale during today's press conference, but was interrupted by a reporter in the room who was apparently talking loudly on his phone. Pro tip for that reporter: don't do that.

About halfway through the video clip above, you can hear someone's voice rising in the background, which clearly distracts Mora. It's all down hill from there, as Mora unleashes a devastating death stare toward the reporter, who apologizes meekly before the coach storms out of the room.

The Oklahoma State story is now posted on SI.com.

Since it's from Dohrmann, I'm not clicking on it or reading it. I'll gauge how true it is by the reaction (and I'm going to guess that since it's Dohrmann, 3/4 will be stretching).

Well I saw a headline this morning that said OSU AD apologizes to BIG 12..I thought Gene did something stupid..again.

STILLWATER, OKLA. (AP)
Oklahoma State athletic director Mike Holder apologized to his fellow athletic directors around the Big 12 Conference on Monday in advance of what's expected to be a scathing expose of the football program by Sports Illustrated.

''I apologize to all the athletic directors in the conference for what's about to happen, for what's about to be said about a member institution,'' Holder said at a news conference without taking questions. ''That reflects on everyone, all our brothers and peers, we're very remorseful about that"

I guess the story has enough FACTS to warrant the apology.

Dung Weasel blaming (albeit partially) the Buckeyes for scheduling FAMU :

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ncaaf-...me-for-humiliating-florida-a-m-200127520.html

On the third-quarter scoring drive that would eventually give Ohio State a 62-0 lead, Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer faced a fourth and four at the Florida A&M 33-yard line.
Meyer could've attempted a long field goal, could've punted, or heck, he even could've just taken a knee, what with the game already so lopsided and absurd.

Instead, Meyer went for it. The Buckeyes got the first down and two plays later Ezekiel Elliott ran it in for another Ohio State touchdown in one of the worst college football beatdowns imaginable.

This ended 76-0.

If anything, it wasn't that close.

Good Morning Buckeye fans....For your entertainment I offer you Mr Couch.

At No. 4, is Ohio State overrated?

Okay so I guess maybe, maybe that might be a valid question. Of course that really isn't enough for this dick head..he just had to include this gem...

If there was a hero of the night, it was running back Carlos Hyde and even he left you with mixed feelings. His tears afterward were just so hard to interpret. He is trying to redeem himself following a three-game suspension.

“That suspension, it really hurt,’’ he said. “Not being out there with my brothers cause of the mistake I made. . .

“I kept with my faith. I prayed every night He would be there for me.’’

Sitting there not 10 feet from Hyde, who was openly weeping when he said that, I’m not sure, honestly, that I felt for the young man struggling with what he had done. You don’t want to forget the YouTube video in a club, where he and a woman were arguing, and she swung at him, and he stepped back in and slapped her.

and...........................
He ran for 168 yards and three touchdowns Saturday night, and Ohio State fans — men and women — were high-fiving him as he left the field.

Cheering him. That shouldn’t matter to the national title race, but here was a guy beloved again already in public. If the woman hadn’t dropped the charges, he probably wouldn’t have even been playing.

How many guys in the SEC shouldn't be playing at all?
