That's it. I've had it. Fickell is not ready. There is no excuse for not calling that Timeout. Football is NOT a game of giving up. Every second matters.

I don't understand this thinking at all as I've seen Tressel do this many times when the team is struggling. If you told me Tressel was coaching this game then I would believe you 100%.

Booing idiots. I just don't understand how you can watch the game, see the team is clearly struggling/deer in the headlights, and boo. I know many disagree with me, and thats fine, but I personally think its bull[Mark May].

I don't think the majority were booing the players. I think they were booing the coaching staff.

There are a lot of questions to be answered on this team and the coaching staff...... 2nd half we need to be better in all aspects... I'm taking a wait and see approach to this game..... on a side note... My 3 month old daughter had the most impressive performance of the first half.... a diaper blowout ... up the side and the back... had to toss the onesie it was so soiled...

That's what we need to see from the young Buckeyes.. Shock and Awe!

What We Need For The Second Half

OFFENSE:

1] Error free football
2] Use some roll out's that give Braxton the option of throwing or running
3] Kick butt attitude from the OL. They should be ticked beyond belief
4] Some creative play calling on Offense

DEFENSE:
1] Tighter coverage

This game is far from over. Let's make the right adjustments and realize that this IS OUR HOUSE and start to man up at every position on every play. No exceptions....

I'm behind our boys all day but if they would allow applications for OC of the Ohio State football team, I'd get on a plane back to Ohio today and work that MSU defense into the ground.


Playing scared is no way to live on the football field. Be conservative when you can control the pace. When you need a spark you cant live with bad field position and long yardage.

All these are on the coaches when you have a young team. The way I see it the kids are giving the effort. The coaches are not putting in them in positions to succeed. Am I off base?

Are the coaches committing false starts? Missing blocks? Snapping the ball along the ground? Dropping interceptions? Letting balls be ripped from their hands? There is plenty of blame to go around.

I'm sure as shit not happy with the play calling, but the players aren't playing very well, either.

At the very least call the Timeout with a second left and air it out. If the offense can't tackle a guy who intercepts the ball in his own endzone they don't deserve to win the game anyway.

I wish this team would give more heart and show some desire to win.

That's a bullshit comment. There is no reason to question their desire.

Some of our fans need to have realistic expectations about this team this season. For fuck's sake we had people predicting undefeated NC this year. That was completely unrealistic under the circumstances.

We are going to lose some games this year. We are very young, our coach is a rookie, and our opponents are licking their chops to get some revenge.
