can't find where i said sc would "destroy" tOSU? i know you have issues in both lines and we don't...usually where games are won and/or lost. pretty simple analysis.

I don't know about all that. I wouldn't say we have "issues" on either line. The D-line should be sick. There is so much talent, versatility, and experience there. We have players that can match any gameplan that USC wants to use. And the offensive line, we don't even know about so there isn't any way that you would know. Honestly, our offensive line should be better than last year. And you have an "issue" at QB, I'm pretty sure that you can EASILY lose a game at that position. But, really, what do I know? I think we're going to beat the shit out of USC, but there's a reason that I'm a fan.

unlike many of our friends from the sec (meyer), pete does not run up scores and often does hand off a lot in the fourth qtr of games that are out of reach.
Doesn't run it up?

8/30@Virginia (5-7)W52-7
9/13vs.Ohio State (10-3)W35-3
9/25@*Oregon State (9-4)L21-27
10/4vs.*Oregon (10-3)W44-10
10/11vs.*Arizona State (5-7)W28-0
10/18@*Washington State (2-11)W69-0
10/25@*Arizona (8-5)W17-10
11/1vs.*Washington (-12)W56-0

11/15@*Stanford (5-7)W45-23
11/29vs.Notre Dame (7-6)W38-3
12/6@*UCLA (4-8)W28-7

Yeah, he maybe isn't throwing the ball in the 4th.. but... he runs it up just fine.

the fans were split about 50/50 between sanchez and booty. booty didn't star so the 50% called for sanchez but pete stuck with booty...by his own admission, too long into the stanford game after he hurt his throwing hand and started sailing passes...that was a killer!

I rest my case

PC likes sticking with his starter.

If you cant stop the run and they happen to score then what can ya do? Just fall down before the goal line?

Right, and you want me to believe that when the two gems you have brought to this board are the "owning us in the trenches" and "we have the best defense in college football". You lose 8 starters and its not "I think we can reload and heres why" or "we have the potential to have the best defense in CFB because". You bring a flat out statement before that defense has even played a down.

If you really want insight and a discussion with the OSU fanbase there is no better place then BP. But I would lose the attitude or the only thing you will get from posters here are those little red chicklets you seem so intent on collecting.

I think USC has "issues." Whether their fans choose to acknowledge them or not is another story. Buckeye fans believe that we'll reload, but we're realistic about it. We know where there are questions, and the answer isn't as simple as "plug 5-star player in here and here and here and you have the best team ever."

And don't forget the almost unseen crack at pryor that I had to refute

this years lbs are faster than last years though...and going against a qb who cant throw(Pryor), we'll be just fine!!

Terrelle led the big ten in pass efficiency last year(146.5 rating/1311 yrds/12 tds...in 8 starts).... and he has improved alot in the offseason. That Terrelle Pryor is a terrible passer.

oh yeah 60.6% completion rate.... as a freshman

He is off to a great start here.

have no attitude...do stand by the fact that our strength is in the trenches and that our defense will prove to be the best, or one of a few, in the country. we return a group on defense that has played/started a large number of games over the last few years, mays, pinkard, griffen, tupou, etc are leaders and the lbs: galippo, morgan and smith are very fast and played a lot last year but if you have nothing to offer...im ok with that

I'm not ok with the fact you don't have squat to offer other than trolling and then denial of the same.

So, those national groups that claim SC lost 8 starters off last year's D are wrong?

You're saying that SC losing 3 LBs to the NFL is no big deal?

Dude, you don't lose Cushing Malaluga and the guy who's name I forget at them moment and not feel any drop off.... that trio may have been the best at SC ever... and maybe the best trio in CFB ever.... you're kidding yourself if you think SC's D won't feel that. Will the D still be formidable? Sure. But... come on.. they're "fast?" and "played a lot?"

Give me a break.
