Mark Sanchez Sophomore season:

69/114 60.5 completion percentage 695 yards 6.10 YPA 7 TD's 5 INT's

Terrelle Pryor Freshman season:

100/165 60.6 completion percentage 1311 yards 7.95 YPA 12 TD's 4 INT's; Not to mention how much of a run threat he is.

Mark Sanchez QB Rating his Junior Season: 164.6
Terrelle Pryor QB Rating his Freshman Season: 146.5

That would rank Terrelle Pryor 20th overall in the NATION in passing efficiency. Just 14 spots behind your boy Mark Sanchez. Again, not to mention that Terrelle Pryor is arguably the best running QB in the NCAA.

But noooo, he can't throw. Don't worry about that or the fact that he has a whole offseason of development under his belt.

I think USC has "issues." Whether their fans choose to acknowledge them or not is another story. Buckeye fans believe that we'll reload, but we're realistic about it. We know where there are questions, and the answer isn't as simple as "plug 5-star player in here and here and here and you have the best team ever."

I think there are a lot of realistic USC fans, but it seems not too many are migrating to this board :wink2:

QB is obviously the big one, and I think the RoJo injury creates a possible issue with the passing game if we can't find a reliable and quick guy to spread the field like RoJo did. There are a few candidates who are talented but have kind of underachieved in game situations. But we'll have to see who steps up and makes it happen.

The other main issue is defensive line, though I'm cautiously optimistic about it. I'm not worried about our secondary at all and I think Mays will end up helping the linebackers a lot to help patch up any possible issues there. Obviously it won't be as strong as last year's... I think it's a question mark but I'm feeling good about it, especially since a lot of the guys aren't entirely new.

The main strengths are definitely the offensive line, the running game, and the safeties.

have no attitude...do stand by the fact that our strength is in the trenches and that our defense will prove to be the best, or one of a few, in the country. we return a group on defense that has played/started a large number of games over the last few years, mays, pinkard, griffen, tupou, etc are leaders and the lbs: galippo, morgan and smith are very fast and played a lot last year but if you have nothing to offer...im ok with that

Lose the pompous attitude if you want to stay on BP.

If you tell somebody else they have nothing to offer, you'll get an infraction for trolling.

That;s what kills me when people talk about Pryor...

"He can't throw" "He's no passer" bla bla bal...

then you start looking at the numbers and you're like "Hmmm... this is terrible? Damn... wait til he gets "good""

Don't get me wrong, TP has plenty of room to grow as a QB... but when people say "Yeah, but can he throw?" like it's some huge weakness of his... well... I just have to laugh.

You know, for a 53-year-old, you could've picked a more original screen name than the name of a current player. A little more than a man-crush, eh?

Eh, it doesn't matter... SC 09 is faster and have played a lot anyway... so who cares who they lost from 08, right?

Exactly.

In fact, USC is so much better this year than last they are going to win all of their games 70-3 and never have to throw a pass in the 2nd half.

ZOMGZ they're going to be AWESOMEZ!!!!!!
