For Methomps or any SC fan in the know:

I know that SC has been hit HARD by the injury bug this spring, but at the end of they day, according to the latest injury reports, isn't it likely that all projected starters (e.g. Corp, ODowd, Spicer, Damien Williams, Ayles, etc.) will play against Ohio State with the exception of Armstead? Obviously depth and practice time is a factor, but it's good to know that you'll be mostly full strength by Sep 12.

Similarly OSU has had some injuries (Boren, Spitler, Posey) but all starters look ready to go by USC game day except of course for Moeller.

Let's hope it stays that way and there are no further injuries on either side, knock-on-wood.

I dont think the injury bug is done yet though.

Yeah, we're getting new injuries like every day :(
Comes with the territory of the practices, but I want to be as close to full strength as possible this year, especially for the Ohio State game. The line injuries are really bothering me the most.

college football live is talking about corp and mustain. corp had a knee injury. could that keep him from playing osu? i guess the battle is still up in the air. idk who i would pick. it shouldn't matter as long as osu wins!

Guys, every year USC gets ALOT of injuries before the seasons starts. It's not like this year is much different than in years past.

Losing Armstead was a huge blow. He was the prototypical SDE. They have no one else like him. They will either have to move Nick Perry back to SDE or play Malik Jackson, who was demoted last year for losing gap containment too often.

I remember last year Sanchez had a injury, their RB's always have a couple injuries, Cushing had his fair share of injuries throughout his career, I think Jeff Byers had a injury issue last year, and Rey Maualuga knocked the crap out of Patrick Turner. They always hurt themselves.

Armstead will hurt, but isnt he a DT? I thought Everson Griffen, Malik Jackson, Nick Perry, and Devon Kennard were their DE's?
